so sorry for the extremely late reply. first of all, thank you :)

to answer your question, no i don’t use flash at all. all of my photos are naturally lit (eg: sunlight from outside or wall/ceiling lights), but for some photos from my photo shoots (not all) i’d used household lights if its to dark ie: fluorescent light bulb attached to a shop light (something like this) when i shoot at the models house, its pretty mobile, i can pull, place and hang it wherever. and if i shoot at home, i use my house standing lights with the bulbs. the lights from the bulbs can be quite harsh if you shoot up close, i’ve yet build a light diffuser for it, i’m procrastinating…

hi.. really sorry for the late reply, i haven’t check my tumblr in a while. first of all, thank you and glad you like my photos :)

secondly, i started with a really tight budget, so i went around looking for my kit. my tank and changing bag (had to cover the pinholes with a tape) are secondhand that i bought from a friend, the chemicals i bought from shawn of stinkyfilm, and i got my thermometer from a shop that sells lab equipment (way cheaper than the standard photography thermometer and still accurate and durable) and the measuring jug from a hardware store, you can probably get a measuring cup from stores that sells baking goods..

the only shops in kl that i know (i’m sure there are others) sells developing kits are shriro in pj (they’re only open from mon-fri and during office hours which is a bummer coz i work during those times) and keat camera in jalan pudu. and another shop where my friends get they’re stuff is in singapore at ruby photo. hopefully this is useful, sorry that i’m not much of a help..
